Baseball: Lincecum deal
I give up Lincecum and get Gio and Gordon. Gordon had a solid breakout last season and Gio is a solid SO pitcher. A lot of people seem to be down on Lincecum and believe he will blow up sooner or later.
20 team league, 10 keepers:
Mccann
Konerko
Ryan Roberts
Tulo
Zimmerman
Ichiro

Lester
Garza
Lincecum
Obviously I would drop Roberts and add Gio and Gordon into the mix.
Assume this is Alex Gordon? Not Dee?
I would keep Lincecum – he’s the elite player in this deal. While Gio is going to the easier league, he is a fly ball guy that benefited from his home ball park.
It’s a fair deal, i just prefer to have the elite talent. I’d rather trade Lincecum 1-1 for a premium-type bat.

LikeDislikeZimm and Pablo are sort of the same player, Zimm has upside/downside. I like him more but not that much. it’s fair, but one could argue you are giving up the two best players in the deal.
You are getting fine players back, but Lincecum is a star. I know you need to fill Roberts keeper spot, so a 2-1 makes some sense, I just hate giving up the best player in teh deal.
Sorry I cant be more definitive. it’s certainly a fair deal, i’d rather just keep the great players.

LikeDislikeI would stick with Lincecum too. Gio is fine but not close to Lincecum. In a 20 team league to give up an ace like Lincecum is tough to do and would take a bigger deal that than to sway me.

LikeDislikeI would rather keep Lincecum. Gio is a nice pitcher, however he will not come close to Timmy’s ERA or strikeout production. Also, Alex Gordon did have a nice year, however he could regress back to his old ways. Too risky in my book.
